The Enterprise encounters an identical copy of Earth in deep space. Upon closer inspection, they find the monuments are constructed out of paper mache, but when laser attacks start destroying them, the actual monuments on Earth fall due to a voodoo link. The crew must find and sever the link before Earth is destroyed from a distance.
