The Skrulls have invaded, and the Thunderbolts seem to be the only active team, thanks to their avoidance of Starktech. Even if their technology was up and running, the other teams would still be destroyed by distrust. The Thunderbolts, however, never trusted each other to begin with, leaving them just as effective as they've ever been.
