A man with discoloured skin and no will of his own attacks the police, who are forced to defend themselves. Jack agrees to investigate, and is led to an underground trap, where a man intent on creating living, enslaved corpses turns his equipment on Jack. Unexpected side effects turn him into the Fiery Mask, and he devotes his newfound abilities to the combat of evil!
