While on monitor duty at the satellite, the Flash discovers Hawgirl floating in space. Rescuing her and summoning the rest of the League, they learn, from the Atom, that the Hawks were taking the mentally unstable Jean Loring to Thanagar to be cured.The League deal with various occurances on Earth leaving some members incapacitated.In space, Superman attempts to enter Hawkman's drifting spaceship but is knocked unconcious by an unseen person whom he recognises.At the satellite, the League reconvenes only to be attacked by a Thanagarian.On Oa, the Guardians of the Universe ask GL Jordan to head for Hawkman's ship where it is revealed that GL Tomar Re had knocked out Superman. On board the ship, the Lanterns revive Superman and, with the use of the ship's recorder, find that the Hawks, as well as Jean Loring and the rest of the League, have been attacked by a Thanagarian.Back at the satellite, the Thanagarian attacks but is defeated by Black Canary and the Atom just as Superman and GL Jordan arrive. They revive the remaining members of the League.
