"Green Lantern Does His Ring-Thing!" - Bill Baggett, last seen in "Green Lantern, Vol. 2 #18," has tracked Green Lantern to Evergreen City. Using the remote control range on the ring, he takes advantage of his proximity to Green Lantern to commit a series of robberies with the ring. Fortunately, Hal picks up on it when he encounters some counterfeit bills.

In watching the cosmos, they found a world plagued by two races, one of whom was remarkably violent. They gave a ring to a member of the peaceful race, and he became the first member of the Green Lantern Corps.
