Since resigning the immigration duties he was duped into taking, life for Jaime has settled to normal, or at least as normal as it gets. He's targeted by Ted Kord's old enemies, but with the aid of scarab Khaji-Da, he greatly outclasses them. But during his conflict with The Reach, his actions, and those of Khaji-Da have had some far-reaching consequences.
