Alan Scott is an engineer, testing out a new trestle bridge his company constructed. It is bombed by the competition, leaving Scott the only survivor. He finds a green lantern in the wreckage, and the lantern speaks to him of its history. Soon Scott is imbued with the ability to manifest his own will power, and he uses this ability to take justice to Dekker.
