"The Book of Answers" - Hal and John are both looking for inspiration and answers to their recent problems, including the fates of Ch'p and Rose. They come to the book of Oa in this framing story, hoping to find those answers.

"Where There's a Will" - Alan Scott has been shown on broadcast footage, and Hector Hammond deduces that Doiby is a friend of his. It's not long before Doiby is reported dead, drawing Alan Scott into Hammond's trap.

"Two-Minute Warning" - Breeon is trying to save a sentient plant race from the species that is harvesting it. Unfortunately, the harvester is yellow, and Breeon has only two minutes worth of power left to act.

"The Lonely Man" - Waverly is a very lonely man, having lost those people closest to him. It's not until he sees a chance to be reunited with them that he draws the inspiration to continue living.

"The Trouble with Yellow" - Reemuz tells his friend about the yellow impurity of the power rings, and the impact it has had in tempering the Corps.

"I'd Rather G'nort" - G'Nort responds to a call for Hal Jordan, and finds himself face to face with the Black Hole in the Wall gang of interstellar thieves. He soon finds a way to to convince them he's the real deal.
