When the Secretary of State's daughter vanishes in a small Colorado town, he wants Osborn's Avengers to look into the matter... as a personal favor. And since he chairs the committee that determines the Avengers' funding, Osborn's forced to agree. Sending the Sentry in first to look at the situation, things become dire when he apparently explodes soon after arriving.
