Noh-Varr decided to join with the rest of the Marvel Universe in repelling the Skrull's Secret Invasion of Earth. After the dust of the conflict had cleared, Norman Osborn asked him to join his Avengers as 'Captain Marvel', an offer that he accepted - only to learn later that many of his teammates were psychopaths, criminals or both. Noh-Varr fled Avengers Tower, and has been desperately trying to make contact with the Kree Supreme Intelligence from his home dimension. He doesn't know what his place in this world is supposed to be. But following a dramatic battle with the Sentry, all is made clear.
