Lois and Clark head to the Zoo on their day off, only to find it deserted. With no animals, and a war-time budget that precludes their purchase, the zoo is seriously struggling. Clark overhears that the zookeeper is about to be fired, and decides to round up new animals to entertain the zoo patrons. The hunter he encounters in the process has other ideas, however.
