Targets on Two Worlds

On both Earth-One and Earth-Two, various criminals are coerced back from retirement, freed from prison or simply enlisted into the Secret Society of Super Villains. They gather at a mountain top palace in Nepal to meet the leader of the Society, The Ultra-Humanite who informs them of his latest plan: ridding both Earth-One and Earth-Two of certain heroes will cause the Multiverse correct itself, resulting in the removal of all heroes from either one Earth or the other. Aboard the JLA satellite, the Justice League's and Society's annual meeting ends without the teams being involved in a crisis. When all heroes except Black Canary (who is on monitor duty) have left, The Mist arrives and manages to knock her out. Later, the Earth-Two Hawkman and the Earth-One Wonder Woman are similarly incapacitated and the Ultra-Humanite's plan is under way.
