Brainiac has returned. He released Clayface from prison to keep Batman and Robin occupied so they can't help Superman, and tries to attack Superman with a kryptonite ray but gets Jimmy Olsen instead. Unable to go near Jimmy, Superman has an idea: he and Batman switch partners, so Batman and Jimmy work together while Superman and Robin work together. It is not long before Clayface and Brainiac join forces to really cause trouble.
