The Justice League, aided by some of their fellow heroes have been tasked with infiltrating the homeworld of the Manhunters, following the events of Millennium. Landing on the planet, the League follow Superman into the underground tunnel system where they find the Green Lantern G'nort who has been lost on the planet - by accident - for three months. They launch a surprise attack upon the Manhunters, destroying the robots but failing to prevent the Highmaster escaping and triggering a self-destruct mechanism that destroys the entire world moments after the League escape, apparently leaving G'nort to his doom. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Blue Beetle and Mr. Miracle deal with the release of a Manhunter captive.
