Max Lord convinces Batman to help him find out what the secret weapon that Colonel Rumaan Harjavti of Bialya is due to unveil. Choosing a team of Leaguers, Batman leads them all undercover into Bialya. Out in space, The Cluster discover that they have inadvertently captured Mr Miracle before finding that J'onn J'onnz and his team are following them. Before the League can get aboard, however, The Cluster warps out. In Bialya, Colonel Harjavti and the Queen Bee discuss their plans to capture the members of the League as they pose as diplomats. Batman and Green Flame manage to avoid the attacks and attend the Colonel's unveiling of his secret weapon which turns out to be Wandjina, the other-dimensional hero who was severaly malformed by the Russian nuclear meltdown he prevented. Under the control of the Queen Bee, Wandjina kills Harjavti and she proclaims herself ruler of Bialya.
