Madame Calagra is an incredible fortune teller. First, she predicts an actress will see her name larger than life. Then, she predicts an elderly gentlemen will move into a new role in life. Finally, she predicts Diamond Pete Ransome's going to be followed by two strong men who help him into someplace heavily guarded. Soon, all three prophecies come true, and the next year is a tumultuous one for all.
