Justice League of America, Vol. 1

Beamed from Rann, Adam Strange arrives in the Justice League satellite carrying the costumes of the Leaguers who had tried to help him. After admitting that he had failed the League members, the JLA beam to Earth to confront a threat of unusual weather in Long Island. When they arrive, they find the storm cloud is possessed of intelligence and attacks them, defeating them in turn.Adam Strange realizes that the cloud creature is another old menace from Rann that he has inadvertently brought to Earth. Kanjar-Ro appears and tells him that the cloud creature and the threats on Rann are his doing; Strange steals Ro's energi-rod and is beamed back to Rann.Using Rannian science, Strange commands the energi-rod to take him to the Justice League on Rann where he finds the League converted to spheres. Using the energi-rod he is able to return the League to their rightful forms and even finds another sphere which becomes his fiance, Alanna. Quickly returning to Earth, the League defeat Kanjar-Ro and his cloud creature, returning to Rann in time for Strange to marry Alanna.
