| Release: | Jan 1989 |
| Cover: | Jan 1989 |
Following the apparent end of the Invasion, the League attempt to clean up the South Pacific of the remains of the conflict unaware that on a nearby island a group of second rate villains have banded together and stolen a Thanagarian ship. Guy Gardner overhears the conversation of the villains, transmitted over one of the radios of the ships the League are disposing of and, bored with the clean up detail, flies off to investigate just as the Injustice League (as they are calling themselves) get their Thanagarian ship off the ground. With their ship damaged by an over enthusiastic Gardner, the League rush to help, capture the Injustice League and hand them over to the military. As the League continue to clean up, the world is blanketed in an atmospheric inversion. Continued in Invasion! #3
