As the Green Lantern G'nort wishes for some excitement, a prison of LEGION is released into the cosmos. The Scarlet Skier seeks the Lantern who imprisoned him: G'nort. Stopping at the League Embassy, G'nort finds the other heroes all too busy to spend time with him. He catches sight of the Skier crashing to Earth and when he attempts to help, the Skier attacks him. By the time the police and the League arrive, the Skier has escaped. G'nort tells the League of the Skier's origin as herald to Mister Nebula, a gigantic planetary designer. Finding the Skier soon after, G'nort inadvertently destroys his power unit, stranding him on Earth.
