Magneto has finally attacked the United States, the heart of what he believes to be a global anti-mutant conspiracy. But even as his allies battle sentinels on the lawn of the White House, Magneto and Quicksilver speed to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier to search for proof of the conspiracy. The situation is dire, and the success of Magneto's uprising depends on both of these fronts. And if Trask's sentinels fail, the President is prepared to authorize a nuclear strike on US soil.
