In the wake of Siryn's attack, the mutants of X-Factor aren't united in how to respond. But as they argue, Rictor lays the blame for Siryn's attack square at Layla's feet. With all the 'stuff' Layla knows, she must have known about the impending attack on Theresa, and did nothing to prevent it. But while the fallout from this argument continues, Layla is found by the administrator of the orphanage she lived at following the death of her parents. Rahne and Jamie, both orphans themselves, track her down to make sure she's alright.
