A battle has erupted as Siryn finds herself pursued not only by M, controlled by an assassin from the future, but also by a group of sentinels! But while the sentinels give Siryn something else to worry about, they're also a problem for Cortex, the assassin controlling M. Since M is a mutant, they're attacking her as well. Seeking higher ground from which to aid the fight, Longshot finds himself face to face with Cortex, forcing him to fight on another front.
