Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman
A much more lavish version of the popular Superman television series which had first aired forty years earlier, Lois & Clark focused more on the Man of Steel's early adult years in Metropolis. With the unknowing help of Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher), Clark Kent (Dean Cain) created Superman there in Metropolis after finding work at the world-famous Daily Planet newspaper, where he meets fellow reporter Lois Lane.
Clark takes up the throne of New Krypton, but secretly backs out of consummating his marriage to Zara and plans to return to Earth. However, Lord Nor also takes a liking to Earth, and moves to colonize it.
Lord Nor brings Superman to trial for his plans to usurp Nor and leave the Kryptonian throne with no heir. Meanwhile, Lois learns that the kryptonite held at S.T.A.R. Labs has been stolen.
The long-awaited wedding of Lois and Clark is threatened by a vengeful asylum escapee.
H.G. Wells warns Lois and Clark that they must go back in time to break a curse put on their past lives; otherwise, Lois will die of a terminal disease after they consummate their marriage.
Embittered scientist Vida Dodson creates a machine that drains youth, leaving Jimmy and several others old men in a matter of days. Lois is distracted from the case when she learns that Superman's powers grant him extreme longevity.
An old informant of Lois's is murdered, and when she is discovered holding the gun, Superman is called as a character witness at her trial.
Even Superman's powers may not be enough to prove Lois innocent of murder.
Clark and Lois have a lot in common with their new neighbors, until they find out Bob is an assassin whose next target is an eccentric recluse Lois plans to interview.
A real estate agent's plan to frighten people into selling their homes spirals out of control when he accidentally summons the spirit of a murdered housewife.
Lois' promotion causes problems in her marriage to Clark. They have their first major fight after she kills one of his stories, preventing him from uncovering a plot. Two delinquent brothers try to destroy Superman.
A mischievous imp with plans to conquer the world puts a spell on the people of Metropolis on Christmas Eve.
A mad inventor plans to blow up the buildings of Metropolis, and Superman can't control his powers in order to stop him.
A photograph showing Lois and Superman leads the world to believe she is cheating on her husband. To keep Clark's identity a secret, Lois tries to expose the person behind the scandal.
Criminal from the future Tempus runs for president as "John Doe" and uses a subliminal device to make everyone think "John Doe is a darn nice guy." Clark has nightmares of losing Lois, made worse when she looks into making out a will.
With Superman trapped in a time window, an alternate Superman must save this universe from Tempus, a madman from the future bent on world domination.
A beautiful woman thinks that Jimmy is Superman. A criminal wants to force Superman to activate a powerful satellite weapons system.
Leslie Luckaby takes ownership of the Daily Planet, and a mysterious super-being takes the law into her own hands, killing villains instead of capturing them. Lois and Clark begin to consider having children.
Investigating a series of locked-room murder mysteries leads Lois and Clark to an adversary made of shadow. Meanwhile, their relationship with Leslie Luckaby is strained after Leslie makes a pass at Lois.
Lex Luthor's son wreaks havoc in Metropolis, and in Lois and Clark's marriage. Lois is kidnapped, while Superman investigates whether he can have children.
Trying to en a mob contract taken on him, Woody Samms uses a crystal to swap bodies with Clark, leaving Clark desperate to convince Lois of his true identity before he is killed by the mob, and Woody eager to strut his new superpowers.
An angry toy maker starts kidnapping children and Superman and Lois must stop him. Meanwhile, Perry puts a "lonely hearts" ad in the paper and gets interesting results.
A criminal with telekinetic powers takes Lois and Clark's parents hostage. Clark learns he cannot have children with Lois. However, a baby is left inside their apartment by someone who knows Clark's true identity and their problem.
