Smallville
Smallville revolves around Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and his burgeoning career at the Daily Planet alongside his future love, Lois Lane (Erica Durance). He's supported by his friends, Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack) and Oliver Queen (aka Green Arrow) (Justin Hartley) as they deal with Lex Luthor's replacement, Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman), who initially unleashed a new world of danger in alliance with Major Zod (Callum Blue), a survivor of the doomed planet of Krypton, but has since become a sometimes ally of Clark's.
Three months after Clark left Smallville, he is living in Metropolis under the name Kal and committing crimes under the influence of the red kryptonite ring. Back home, Clark's friends and family search for him and Lex is presumed dead.
Jonathan uses Jor-El's powers to face Clark and bring him home but Clark's actions as Kal in Metropolis come back to haunt him and the Kents. Lex returns to Smallville and comes to terms with Helen's involvement in the attempt on his life.
An anonymous shooter begins assassinating "freaks" affected by kryptonite. Realizing the shooter is using Chloe's database, Clark deduces that Lex is next on the list but his attempt to save Lex's life puts a target on his own back.
Clark fails to save teen Sara Conroy from a supernatural entity known as The Traveler, only to realize he was dreaming. In the real world, Clark and Lana discover Sara and her uncle are the Kent's new neighbors but all is not as it seems.
Clark's future boss at the Daily Planet shows up; Perry White, but this time around he's a dirt bag reporter working for the tabloids.
Clark has downloaded the memories of Jor-El to solve a case that is related to Lana Lang's relative.
After being hit in the forehead by a snow globe containing flakes of meteor rocks in a struggle at a local carnival, the teenager Seth Nelson is given an M.R.I. giving him magnetic abilities. He uses his powers to date and manipulate Lana who is starting to distance herself from Clark by trying to make him jealous. Meanwhile, a snoopy investigator hired by Lex intrusively breaks in The Torch and finds that Chloe Sullivan is examining deeply the life of Lionel Luthor. Lex offers his protection to Chloe to help him investigate his father's past if he had anything to do with a apartment tenement fire that killed Lionel's parents.
Lex escapes an assassination attempt and comes to Clark for help but when Lionel suggests Lex is mentally ill, it becomes increasingly unclear whether Lex is actually crazy or if it's another one of Lionel's infamous cover-ups.
Lex attempts to escape from Belle Reve Sanitarium where three of Clark's old foes are also being held. Clark wishes to use his powers to break Lex out but Jonathan disagrees, fearing that Lex cannot be trusted to keep Clark's secret.
Clark attempts to stop a robbery at the jewelry store using his heat vision but the blast is reflected back into his eyes, leaving him blind but with greatly enhanced hearing. Chloe's dealings with Lionel are discovered by Clark and Lex.
After Chloe loses her job at the Daily Planet and has her computer taken by Lionel Luthor as payback for double-crossing him, Clark and Lana receive a mysterious email from a former Summerholt patient which compels them to kill Chloe.
Clark acts as a mentor to new Smallville High student Jordan Cross who has the ability to foresee the deaths of those he touches. Lex and Chloe decide to investigate Lana's new friend Adam Knight when he begins behaving strangely.
Clark becomes concerned when he discovers that Pete has begun competing in dangerous, illegal street races. When Pete finds himself in debt to a racer with friends in high places, Clark is forced to put aside his morals to help his friend.
Clark is forced to reveal his powers to his classmate Alicia Baker to save her from a falling elevator but discovers that she has powers of her own. The pair begin dating but Clark is concerned when Alicia becomes increasingly obsessive.
As Jonathan prepares for open-heart surgery, Clark's friend Garrett Davis loses his brother Vince to liver disease. Clark is surprised when Vince seemingly comes back to life, until he learns from Lana that the same thing happened to Adam.
Clark receives a call from Lana telling him she is in danger but when he arrives at the Talon, she is alive and well. With Chloe's help, the pair determine the call has yet to happen and that Adam will shoot Lana. Can Clark change destiny?
When Jonathan begins acting strangely, Clark suspects he is being influenced by Jor-El. Lionel Luthor, desperate to uncover Clark's secret, makes a deal with Dr. Virgil Swann that threatens to destroy Clark's trust in both Swann and Lex.
Believing that Lionel has blacklisted her father, Chloe breaks into the Smallville LuthorCorp plant to look for evidence but instead is exposed to a chemical agent that compels those around her to tell the truth, Clark's worst nightmare.
Lex believes that he needs his memories back,but Clark can't take the risk of his secret being exposed.
Lionel Luthor unearths an ancient Kawatche dagger but it is taken by Jeremiah Holdsclaw, an assistant of Prof. Willowbrook. Imbued with Clark's powers, Jeremiah believes himself to be Naman and wishes to kill Lionel, seeing him as Sageeth.
Lana sells the Talon and prepares to leave for Paris but Emily Dinsmore escapes from the LuthorCorp facility to prevent her from leaving. Meanwhile, Clark decides to finally tell Lana his secret and FBI Agent Frank Loder interrogates Pete.
The Kents are visited by a Kryptonian girl named Kara who tries to convince Clark to leave Earth. Lionel Luthor is put on trial for his crimes but he has one final trick up his sleeve which causes Clark to question his friendship with Lex.
