Quasar answers a call to come to Mar-Vell's tomb. He and Starfox find two Kree (Atlas and Minerva) raiding the tomb, but are interrupted by the Shi'Ar Imperial Guard before they can completely explain themselves. Defeating the guard in time, they pursue the Kree into the tomb, where they find Atlas stealing Mar-Vell's Nega bands. Atlas dons them and touches them together, and is immediately replaced by Rick Jones, who is not at all equipped to handle the vacuum of space.
