Rachel Mast, a young widow living in a conservative Amish community, is determined to make it on her own, but soon realizes that going against tradition is next to impossible. Then she meets Mitch Randall, whose interest in her not only sparks community backlash, but also unearths dangerous secrets. Someone is determined to keep the past buried.
