Plot

Playwright Galeazzo D'Ascanio lived for his muse and mistress, Celia Sands, in the early 1900s. The night she was to star in his latest play, she disappeared. Now, his grandson, Alessandro, is preparing to stage a performance of his grandfather's masterpiece, and an actress named Celia Sands is to star. She is instantly drawn to the mysteries surrounding the play, and of her compelling employer.
