Plot

Rachel Leben has had it with marriage to her domineering, womanizing husband, Eric. A renowned, enormously wealthy doctor and owner of the Geneplan Company, Eric feels humiliated by her divorce action. Leaving his lawyer's office one sunny California day, raging at his ex-wife, he is struck and killed by a truck. Within hours, Eric's body disappears from the morgue. To her good friend Ben Shadway's amazement, Rachel is not surprised. She knows about Geneplan's secret research on the possibility of immortality. And now Rachel is terrified, for her husband has indeed come back from the dead, transformed into something fiendish and vengeful that will stop at nothing to destroy her and the man she now loves.
