Plot

The historic old Knickerbocker Theatre is about to present a spectacular new musical -- if murder doesn't spell curtains for cast, crew and famed producer Sir John Holland. The list of suspects is long, but the most illogical is one Milo the Magnificent, long dead and buried in the basement of the Knickerbocker. The old vaudevillian's crossbow is the weapon of choice for the killer, and the bodies are falling faster than the curtain on a bad production. Operating with the logic that ghosts don't commit murder, Captain Bill Donovan hits the Great White Way in search of a killer who's prepared to bring down the house with his own carefully orchestrated production: death, the musical.
