Lists over 4,000 entries dealing with the Navy's role in the discovery, settlement and defence of Australia. Includes a bibliography and an index. The author was a navy public relations officer and director of the Garden Island Naval Museum. His other works include 'Australia's Men of War'and 'Battle of the Wine Dark Sea'.
