Repentance definitely can and should bring glory to God. When it is properly understood, not as a condition for eternal salvation, but as means by which we can reach harmony with our Maker no matter how far we have strayed from Him. We have every reason to thank God for allowing sinners like ourselves to repent and to find harmony and joy in His presence, after days or months or years of waywardness and rebellion.
