Currently Senior Minister at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Marietta, Georgia, Jerry Gladson holds the M.A. and Ph.D. in Old Testament from Vanderbilt University. He is also the adjunct professor at Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, Georgia, and the Psychological Studies Institute, Atlanta. The author of six books and numerous scholarly and popular articles, he is the theological editor of the Journal of Psychology and Christianity. He has pastored churches in Tennessee, Kentucky, and California, and has taught at Southern Adventist University, the Atlanta Center for Theological Studies, Fuller Theological Seminary, Chapman University, La Sierra University, and the Disciples Seminary Foundation. He and his wife, Laura, a Licensed Psychologist, enjoy two adult daughters and three grandsons.
