John Howell, dean of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, has few peers in his expertise as a family life educator. Dr. Howell holds the B.A. degree from Stetson University and the B.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. He has also earned the M.A. in Sociology from the University of Missouri and done postgraduate work at the University of London. He has also authored three books, Teaching About Sex: A Christian Approach, Growing in Oneness, Teaching Your Children About Sex, and Equality and Submission in Marriage.
