Plot

"The Platonic Bible is published as a spiritual guidebook that is in keeping with modern man's spiritual needs. It releases the Western Mind from the Abrahamic based religions which are both obsolete and offensive to those seeking a blueprint for today's spiritual and material needs in the quest for universal peace, harmony, and happiness. Plato established the Academy, and Platonists were known either as Platonists or Academics: therefore, the Platonic Tradition is both philosophically academic and spiritually energetic. The Platonic Bible excludes the foreign Judeo-Christian and corruptive elements such as the God of the anthropomorphic passions of anger and jealousy, the existence of a satan or any evil powerful being that threatens mankind, an eternal place (hell) of perpetual suffering for the creatures of the universe, the apotheosis of Jesus, a vicarious atonement instead of personal virtue and righteousness, miracles instead of reason, myths instead of science, legends instead of history, judgmentalism instead of open minded dialogue, violence to solve social problems instead of gracious discussion, and the gross, degrading, emotional anthropomorphisms attributed to God instead of presenting God's beauty, majesty, grace, dignity and loving nature. The Platonic Tradition is a restoration of the philosophic, scientific, moral and historical standards of the spiritual values as taught by Plato and his followers." --
