The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre
A british hour long "short" gritty crime movie, adapted from one of writer Edgar Wallace mystery stories. Harold Crossley (Maurice Denham), is a prominant attorney who has as his client one T. P. McKenna (Martin Somers) who is on trial for murder. After Denham manages to win an aquittal for McKenna, he engages his services to work as his driver and by using blackmail, assist him in murdering his wife Suzanne Crossley (Nadja Regan). Unfortunately for Maurice, he hadn't planned on his wife's ingenuity or the unrelenting investigation of police constable Royd (Victor Brooks) which has an effect on his meticulous planning.
