“The Fall” is a movie about a young girl, Alexandria (Catinca Untaru), who is in a hospital in 1920s Los Angeles following an accident. There she meets Roy Walker (Lee Pace), a broken-hearted and crippled movie stuntman. Alexandria and Roy strike up a friendship, and Roy begins telling Alexandria a fantastical tale about the Blue Bandit, who along with an explosives expert (Robin Smith), an Indian (Jeetu Verma), Charles Darwin (Leo Bill), and an African, Otta Benga (Marcus Wesley) sets out to have his revenge on a cruel dictator. While Roy’s stories cheer Alexandria, it seems he may have an ulterior motive for stringing the young girl along.
