Deciding to follow her heart, Valerie runs off with Peter only to discover her sister, Suzette (Virginia Madsen) has been slain by a werewolf. Valerie stays with her family, determined to learn the truth of the identity of this werewolf. For years the village has had an understanding with the beast. The village leaves it a plentiful offering of animals and other meats to keep the creature at bay but the blood red moon has changed the monster’s appetite as it wants to devour human flesh. Father Solomon (Gary Oldman) arrives, with the revelation that anyone of them in the village can be the beast during the day. Now Valerie is determined to hunt the werewolf down and kill it!
