What starts out as a relaxing afternoon in the backyard quickly takes a dark and sinister turn for Hector (Karra Elejalde) when he glimpses strange happenings in the woods behind his country home. Through binoculars he sees an attractive woman (Barbara Goenaga) removing her clothes, and then, moments later, she appears to be in trouble. Hector hikes over to get a closer look, and finds himself stabbed and then pursued by a strange masked man. In desperation he hops the fence of a nearby complex, and while catching his breath in a darkened lab, he makes contact the only other person (other than his assailant) on site, technician El Joven (Nacho Vigalondo), who leads him to another building and into a strange mechanical chamber. Moments later, Hector emerges to find the same technician looking confused, claiming he doesn't know him, and then notices that it is once again daylight outside the buildings. His troubles multiply when he learns more about the nature of the machine he hid inside, and his true relationship to the technician, the masked man, and the woman.
