Tru Calling
A university graduate working in the city morgue is able to repeat the same day over again to prevent murders or other disasters.
It's Tru's first day at Med School. On such an important day to her, she also has to relive the day to save the life of a Young Harbor Officer. Meanwhile, Tru's father moves to the city and offers a job to Harrison.
In order to stop Tru from trying to save people, Jack frames Tru for the murder of a psychologist who is about to expose one of his patients for the murder of the patient's girlfriend, Grace.
Tru's asked for help when the lights had been turned off at her birthday party in the morgue, and she doesn't know who's the one who has died. So when the day repeats, she has to know who's the one in danger.
The tables are turned when a suicide victim asks Jack for help. Jack has mixed feelings as to what he is supposed to do.
Jensen, Tru's new boyfriend, is killed but doesn't ask Tru for help. Tru searches the county looking for a body to ask for help so that she can rewind and save Jensen from dying.
It's Christmas Eve and a woman who's been dead for months asks Tru for help at the university. Since the woman can't be saved from death, Jack and Tru forget their rivalry and collaborate to find out what she wants from her.
