Square Pegs is the story of a couple of nerdy girls whom try to penetrate the "in" crowd at Weemawee High School. It was created by Saturday Night Live alum writer Anne Beatts and the character of Patty is based on her. It's theme song was performed by The Waitresses. Paul Shaffer provided additional music.
