Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens is the story of a young orphan boy raised in a workhouse outside of London. The story illustrates the evils of the Poor House's of the time and the corruption of the people who work there. It is also a classic rags-to-riches story about an orphan who has to find his way through a city full of criminals, and avoid being corrupted. One of the world's most read classics.
