Nancy is mad at Bess cause she thinks there is something going on between her and Ned. Nancy has to do astory on the amazing track team that went from losing to winning all because of the new coach. But when Rick on of the track stars has heart faliure everyone suspects drugs. But no drugs were found. It's up to Nancy and here friends to solve the case. Later in the book Nancy starts seeing Judd the cute track star. Meanwhile Stephine is getting married. Her father disapproves of this and is cutting off her finacal ade. In the end Stephine and Johnathen are married. Nancy cracks the case patchs things with Bess and realizes that her and Judd have feelings for each other. It was a great book.
