Upon learning that her Mother is a prisoner of the US Government, Wonder Girl is determined to free her immediately. With Supergirl's help, she confronts the internment camp built to hold those suspected of assisting the Amazons, demanding her Mother's release. But when the Teen Titans show up in an attempt to smooth things over, things only get more difficult. Alienated by the fact that the team still has control of Match, an imperfect clone of Superboy, and the team's unwillingness to follow her into a conflict with the government, Wonder Girl and Supergirl depart to find the ones they believe will help them... the Amazons.
