Superman is now a captive of the Insect Queen. Under the influence of tiny insects that have penetrated his brain, he's unable to muster the will to fight her, even as her bond with him shows him the horrors she plans to wreak on the Earth, transforming it into the new capital of her Empire as she spreads across the galaxy.
But Lana Lang has escaped. And despite the feelings of the LexCorp workers she's discovered evading the Insect Queen's minions, she's confident that if she can just help Clark snap out of it, their problems will be done.
