Batman, Vol. 1

As the first act of War Games draws to a close, Batman, Nightwing and Batgirl prepare to infiltrate the High School where gunmen have taken hostages. Negotiators haven't managed to make contact with any of the various gangs present in the school, and the life of Darla Aquista hangs in the balance.

Going to work inside the building, Batman and his associates quickly neutralize the armed thugs with intel provided by Tim Drake. But one thug that they missed nearly causes the police to rush the building.

The image of Batman carrying the wounded, apparently ded Darla outside begins to turn the media tide against the Dark Knight and his associates as they blame him for her injuries.
