Lori Zechlin is finding herself in an awkward position, caught between the Birds of Prey, and the Secret Society of Supervillains. As Black Alice, she has the ability to temporarily steal the abilities from anyone whose powers are magic-based. And while she's using their abilities, they can't. This makes the magic users on both sides nervous, but Talia and the Society are willing to risk her wrath to recruit her.The Society tries to appeal to her as other outsiders, shunned by normal society, and tell her that the heroes want to stop her from achieving her potential. And they have an ace up their sleeves that even the Birds can't match.
