Weeks after he has avenged the murder of slum-lord Leonard Krieger, Crispus is still drawn to the apartment building where that vengeance was carried out. He and the Spectre are still settling into their respective roles, but Crispus feels less a part of the Spectre, than simply the vessel that it emerges from when he gets close enough for the Spectre to sense someone's guilt.But when Crispus finds someone he feels is worthy of punishment at the Spectre's hands, he learns that he does hold some checks on the Spectre's power.
