| Cover: | Feb 2003 |
Nearly killed by Shathra, Spider-Man survived only by crawling into a display of arachnids, confusing his scent along with that of all the other spiders. But his ally, Ezekiel Sims has found him, and carried him to Ghana. Here, there is a ruin sacred to Anansi, the first totemic Spider-Man. Here, he believes that Peter will be most purely the Spider, and perhaps can defeat Shathra.
