"Stand-ins for Supergirl": Reactron, an atomic-powered foe of the Doom Patrol, is lured into the open by the Patrol's gambit of offering Negative Woman as "bait." When the battle between the DP and Reactron begins, Linda Danvers is shooed away from the scene by Tempest, who has no idea she is Supergirl. Cheryl and Daryll, who have accompanied her to the park, take her back home, and Linda must settle for watching the inconclusive battle with her super-vision. Later, Reactron appears on the Lake Shore University campus, drawn by the emanations of a secret experimental nuclear reactor, and Supergirl appears to confront him.
"There's No Fool": Lois's book, Around the Planet in 80 Months, is published, and she witnesses what appears to be a murder.
