Catwoman, Vol. 3

Onyx is losing members of her crew to Killer Croc. Batman sends her to Catwoman, who she finds just after she's sent a pimp and two of his prostitutes packing. Somewhere, Black Mask surveys the damage Onyx inflicted and tells Killer Croc he'll find Onyx the next evening and eat her. Catwoman and Onyx formulate a plan. The next day Selina stops at the bank and then visits costume and weapons designer Tailor, and following that a hardware store who delivers her purchases to a place Onyx has specified in the Hill. After a short rehearsal, Onyx drips blood into the sewers, knowing Croc will scent it and come to her. Onyx lures Croc in, then Catwoman attacks with Tailor's new weapon: laser sharpened claws that will cut even Croc's thick hide. He throws her off and chases Onyx - right into a trap made of ropes; when Onyx tugs, Croc is immobilized. Catwoman uses her new claws to carve "MEOW" into his chest, so that when Black Mask sends the False Face Society after the monster, he'll understand he's got a determined enemy.
